For the past few years I have specialized in fashion photography for the hairdressing world. Working anywhere from Chilliwack, BC to Vancouver, BC I have photographed models for many large salons and for individual stylists entering styling contests.
I have secured regular headshot work with two large model agencies in Vancouver, BC.
In the competitive world of photography, where everyone who has a camera is a photographer, I put the emphasis not only on the technical side i.e. setting up the lighting, camera, lenses etc. but more on the interaction with the model so that there is a connection with the person looking at their photograph. This is the same whether it is a headshot or a fashion portrait.
