This isn't where it officially started, but it is where I found the Kino's and developed my look. My business really took off in this little room. Check it out!
Crazy Peter! What's funny is that my first studio was super small as well. I even had to shoot from behind my desk sometimes just to get a little more distance to use a portrait lens. :)
my studio is also my living room :) and i currently shoot every three days, so i make my living room to a studio and 4 hours later i build everything back :)
I'm amazed when I go in there. It's really the room the whole business took off in. We used to jam multiple clients in there without any AC. No idea how we pulled it off.
I'm extremely blessed to be given two 10x20 spaces and one 20x40, plus a classroom to start a High School Photography Academy. I need to turn three spaces into portrait studios for my high school students. What I really, really, really want to know - - is what equipment should I put in these spaces to get portrait photography off the ground and rocking? What lighting do we start off with? What background, etc? Peter what camera did you start with and lens? HELP - (btw, You're awesome!)

That makes my garage studio look like the Cowboys Stadium. Somehow I still need "just a couple more feet".
Thanks!! I needed to see this today. :)

This is great. Inspirational stuff, I love that it comes from humble beginnings with a strong vision.
Thanks Johnny. Touch base when you can. Want to hear what you've been up to.
Thats all I need but with a HUGE window!!
Love your work Peter, thank you for sharing your experience!
Wow! I have a 10'x20' space for my studio, office, and makeup/changing area. It's small, but it works!

Once I've stacked enough chips, I'll be upgrading to Protege. Remember the name, Kamree Parker.
It's truly nice to see how it startet off. God job, Peter ;-)
